Joel is an enthusiastic educator with experience teaching the Saxophone, Piano, Flute, and Clarinet. Joel teaches private lessons in his home studio and is on staff as piano and woodwind instructor at Bloor West Music Studios and Stay At Home Music. Joel teaches from his home studio and also travels to students’ homes.

Joel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in woodwinds from Humber College as well as his Grade 8 RCM certification in piano and theory. Joel has taught lessons in all styles and seeks to set students up with a solid foundation of music fundamentals to help them pursue their musical goals! Joel has prepared students for university applications and Royal Conservatory exams and is also happy to teach people just looking to get in touch with their musicality and learn for fun!
